Superhero Elijah

Elijah was never into super heroes. For some reason he never took fully into them like I saw other boys do. So this was a special moment. We found the Batman costume at Goodwill. We used to go to the thrift stores more often. The kids would find all kinds of unique toys.

Elijah loved the costume. He wore it in his room and posed in all kinds of martial arts poses. I think he learned about Batman from his friends at school. I never remember him watching any Batman cartoons. This photo was taken in 2017, so he was five years old.

The costume is still in his room, stored away in his closet.
